Join us at the Living Lab on Saturday, April 19th from 10:00am - 12:00pm to learn about the return of beavers to Tucson's rivers and what you can do to help them. This event is free for the whole family!
This month’s featured activities include:
Learn about beavers through arts and crafts, science experiments, and help to build a beaver dam model.
Kids will first learn about beavers and how they alter environments to create habitat for themselves and other species.
A variety of additional activities, including story and song time, exploring our native food forest, the kids' play area, meeting the hens, and more.
Teens will enjoy playing beaver coding games using Scratch, and learning how to shape and polish a worry stone or necklace.
Schedule:
10:00am - Song and story time, beaver activities
12:00pm - Program ends, bye-bye!
Family Saturdays happen every third Saturday of the month. Stay up to date on childrens programming through the Tucson Action Bulletin.
